Autumn Nelson, Attorney

As a refugee who fled from war-torn Vietnam to the United States with her family to pursue freedom, opportunity, and happiness, Autumn understands the plight of immigrants who wish to do the same. Her experiences as an immigrant, a racial minority, and a woman have led her to devote her career to social justice, advocating for equality, and helping the disadvantaged and vulnerable.

Autumn graduated from Hamline University Law School in 2004 and has law licenses in Texas and Minnesota. She is also pro bono certified in Colorado. She is fluent in Vietnamese and speaks conversational Spanish.

She has seen too many people suffer because of their immigration status in the U.S., and what she loves most is helping to reunite family members. She is always thrilled when she is able to hand clients their residency card or give them long-awaited and life-changing news.

Rocio is a certified paralegal with over five years of immigration legal experience. She speaks Spanish fluently and is able to offer certified Spanish translations.

Carla Crapster, Attorney

Carla was raised to believe that lawyers should do good in the world and be examples of honesty and integrity in the community. She values diversity and inclusion in the United States and was frustrated to see the recent changes to immigration law that have made it more difficult for people around the world to gain entry to this country and all the opportunity it offers. She left behind a large law firm where she practiced commercial litigation as she could no longer stand on the sidelines and watch what was happening to immigrants. She loves to work one-on-one with clients and see the difference in a client’s life when we are able to help him or her stay in the United States.

Carla graduated from The University of Texas Law School in 2008 with high honors. She speaks conversational Spanish and enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband.
